Join us on March 24th from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30p.m. in partnership with the Diversity Institute, the Future Skills Centre, and the Government of Canada for the official launch of our Skills for the Post-Pandemic World research series.
The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in incredible transformation and seemingly disparate yet simultaneous realities, especially within the skills landscape. While the destructive impact is undeniable, it has also sparked innovation and fuelled digitization across sectors. It has also highlighted the need to move beyond our focus on technology creation in the innovation agenda and to continue to advance technology adoption and entrepreneurial skills. Post-pandemic, how can we harness the potential to drive inclusive innovation?
We’re launching the first of eight papers to explore the policy implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for workers, learners, training providers, and employers as we collectively turn to face the post-pandemic future of skills.
At this interactive event, you’ll hear about our findings, learn insights from industry leaders, and explore digital transformation, innovation and alternative pathways for digital skills. We encourage you to send us your questions for the panel to consider.
Speakers include:
- Dr. Wendy Cukier, Founder and Academic Director, Professor, Entrepreneurship & Strategy at Ryerson University’s Diversity Institute,
- Steven Harrington, National Lead of Workforce Strategy at Deloitte,
- Murtaza Haider, Research Director of the Urban Analytics Institute and Professor of Data Science and Real Estate Management at Ryerson University,
