Shweta Menon
Policy Lead
Shweta Menon brings experience in science, journalism and policymaking to her work at PPF.
Most recently, Shweta worked as a Research Associate for a Member of Parliament in India, where she undertook extensive consulting and policy work within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Before that, she worked as a print and broadcast journalist, covering law with a special focus on injustices resulting from inordinate delays in the Indian justice system.
Shweta holds a master’s degree in public policy from McGill University, where her capstone project with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) resulted in recommendations to the federal government on acquisition and preservation strategies for affordable rental housing. As well, Shweta holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from Gargi College, University of Delhi.
She joined PPF in 2022.
