Your Energy Future is a national policy engagement and leadership development program delivered by the Public Policy Forum in partnership with Action Canada.

Through a national selection process, Action Canada and the Public Policy Forum identified 16 emerging leaders (ages 18-35) from across Canada. This group represents Canada’s diversity — its regions, languages, communities and peoples. From June 2017 until March 2018, participants are travelling to different parts of Canada including Fort McMurray, Winnipeg and James Bay. They learned about the diversity of Canada’s energy sector and the implications of the global transition towards clean energy sources. They are engaging other young Canadians in dialogue, both in person and online, about energy, resources, and the implications of change.

They have developed strategies for Canada’s success, and the Task Forces presented their final reports to leaders in the federal, provincial and territorial governments, in the energy sector, and the public on March 9, 2018.
