Vice-President, External Relations
Signi Schneider has worked at the intersection of sustainability, ethics, trade and investment for twenty years. She regularly works with teams and organizations to bring them to their highest level of performance. Teams under her leadership have reached several Canadian firsts: first Canadian financial institution (FI) elected to the Steering Committee of the Equator Principles group, first Canadian FI to publish a public statement on the issue of business and human rights, first internal criteria for financed projects under Canada’s first Green Bond, and first Crown corporation named #1 in the Future 40 ranking of Responsible Corporate Leaders in Canada.
In her time in management consulting, Signi co-authored a guidebook on integrating climate risk into publicly owned banks and financial agencies. In her earlier career as a country risk forecaster, she once predicted a coup in a West African country 24 hours before it happened.
Ms. Schneider has a MA from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
Signi joined PPF in 2021.
