Program Lead, PPF Academy
Rosemary McManus joined PPF in October 2021 as Project Lead for the PPF Academy. In her previous role as a senior project manager and writer with MASS LBP, she managed and reported on public engagement projects such as the 2020-21 Citizens’ Assembly on Democratic Expression and the TransformTO Reference Panel on Climate Action. She also worked in fundraising and communications for the Samara Centre for Democracy and has over a decade of experience in writing and editing for the non-profit, charitable, education, and journalism sectors.
Rosemary holds an MA in English from the University of Toronto and a BA from George Washington University, where she majored in English and minored in Religion. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Rosemary taught English in Thailand for two years before moving to Toronto in 2013. In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, kayaking, reading novels and poetry, and stressing out about American politics.
