About the Event

Hear the 2020/21 Action Canada Fellows present their final reports after a 10 month exploration of the issues affecting the future of work in Canada then join them for an in-depth discussion of their research. It’s all happening on Friday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET via Zoom. Their reports will be on:

  • Place-based policy options for entrepreneurship in a post-COVID Canada
  • A Platform Economy Strategy for Canada: Supporting place-based governance for a more resilient and inclusive post-COVID future of work
  • Growing the Next Crop of Canadian Farmers

The Action Canada Fellowship is a 10-month public policy leadership program with a 17-year track record that aims to enhance emerging leaders’ understanding of the country and public policy choices for the future.

Since the creation of the Fellowship in 2003, we’ve achieved this goal by bringing together outstanding young Canadians whose talents, experiences and perspectives represent the mosaic of our country and by connecting them through shared experiences in communities and places across Canada.
